Food Logistics Names Michael Rones as Recipient of the 2025 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award

Columbus, Ohio —Feb. 3, 2025 — Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global cold food supply chain, named Michael Rones, Senior Account Manager at FST Logistics, as one of the winners of this year’s Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award, which recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain. This recognition is for the Top Transportation Professional.

This year, Michael shattered company records for the most loads moved in a week, a month, and an entire year. In a challenging market defined by depressed rates, brokerage closures, and widespread asset sell-offs, his achievement has been a cornerstone of stability for FST Logistics. Thanks to Michael’s exceptional performance and leadership, FST has continued to expand its workforce even as competitors have been forced to downsize. With this strong foundation, the company is well-positioned to sustain its growth momentum into 2025.

Hear from Michael on receiving this award:

“I am very appreciative of this recognition. To be singled out among so many dedicated employee-owners here at FST Logistics is a true honor. The gift that is providing world class service to our customers is an award in its own right, but being a recipient of the Rock Stars of Supply Chain Award, just makes it even sweeter.”

Recipients of this year’s award will be profiled in Food Logistics’ Jan/Feb 2025 print issue and at http://www.FoodLogistics.com
