Benefits of FST's Walmart Retail Consolidation Program
Walmart Compliance: SQEP, OTIF, & MABD
FST’s systems are built to help you meet the parameters of Walmart’s Supplier Quality Excellence Program (SQEP), on-time and in-full (OTIF) requirements, and must arrive by date (MABD) stipulations. Ultimately, following Walmart compliance means avoiding expensive chargebacks and added fees.
Our employee-owners are dedicated to staying compliant with strict requirements around purchase order (PO) details, labeling, on-time delivery, and in-full order requirements.
Keep retail stocks shelved and sales up with FST’s goal of 98% on-time delivery rate.
Supplier Quality Excellence Program (SQEP)
Walmart's Supplier Quality Excellence Program (SQEP) is an initiative aimed at reducing unnecessary handling and creating supply chain consistency. SQEP evaluates how products and orders are prepared before leaving the warehouse. This includes:
- Purchase Order Accuracy
- Case Compliance
- Packaging Compliance
- Pallet Compliance
- Load Compliance
FST Logistics has inventory control and compliance teams dedicated to ensuring every shipment is Walmart compliant.
On-Time, In-Full (OTIF)
On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) is one of Walmart’s most important supplier performance metrics. Walmart OTIF measures the percent of shipments that arrive on time and in the exact amount ordered. Walmart evaluates OTIF at the case level and expects suppliers to maintain a 98% OTIF performance.
FST's Walmart retail consolidation program helps suppliers improve on-time, in-full performance through optimized routing, appointment scheduling, inventory accuracy, and proactive transportation management.
Must Arrive By Date (MABD)
One of the most challenging compliance requirements for suppliers to meet is Walmart's Must Arrive By Date (MABD). MABD is the specific delivery window during which shipments must arrive at a Walmart RDC or GDC. Walmart schedules labor, dock capacity, and inventory flow around precise appointment windows. This means shipments that arrive too early or too late can both create compliance issues. Depending on the supplier program, shipments may need to arrive:
- On the exact Must Arrive By Date (MABD)
- One day before through the MABD
- Within a designated delivery window, such as 11:00 a.m. the day before through 11:00 a.m. on the MABD
Meeting these delivery windows is a key requirement for successful and efficient Walmart retail consolidation.
